Dr Karthik Chandra Vallam MBBS (JIPMER), MS (Madras Medical College), M.Ch (Tata Memorial Hospital) is a Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon at Medicover Hospital, Visakhapatnam.
Having been trained at TMH, Mumbai which is one of the most premier institutions for cancer treatment and training in India, he is a specialist in surgical treatment of various solid organ cancers. Following his M.Ch, he has pursued a specialised residency in gastro-intestinal and pediatric onco-surgery at TMH. He is also the recipient of travel scholarships from ESMO (European Society of Surgical Oncology) and British Society of Gastroenterology for his award winning paper presentations. He has won best paper awards at IASO and ACOS conferences.
